Equipment Operator

Staley Supply LLC is seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to assist in the production and delivery of Redi mix concrete. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery to support the concrete mixing, loading, and delivery process. This position is essential to maintaining smooth operations, ensuring that materials are handled safely, and that production schedules are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, skid steers, and other machinery to support concrete production and transportation.

• Load and move materials such as sand, gravel, and cement to supply concrete batching equipment.

• Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety.

• Coordinate with truck drivers and plant personnel to ensure timely and accurate loading and delivery of concrete.

• Monitor equipment and report any mechanical issues or malfunctions.

• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

• Adhere to company and industry safety regulations, including those set by OSHA.

Qualifications:

• Experience in operating heavy equipment, particularly in construction or concrete industries.

• Knowledge of basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in a construction or plant environment.

• Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.

• Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.

• Valid certifications to operate heavy machinery are a plus.
